Topics
Softball-LHSAA has adopted the Baden optic yellow ball.
National Federation Rules calls for the compression to be stamped on the balls. Last
year was
the grace period.
Some suppliers have balls with no compression stamp. Tommy is meeting to see if these
will be able
to be used if you have already purchased balls without the stamp. B. J. suggested that
coaches wait
a few weeks before ordering any balls.
B.J. stated all coaches should check the LHSAA web site and pocket calendars you received
at registration
weekly. This way you won?t miss any deadlines.
B. J. also stated Class B and C schools are not turning in a lot of nominations for All-Star
and All-Academic
teams. Try to do a better job with this.
