LOUISIANA SOFTBALL COACHES’ ASSOCIATION
ALL-STATE NOMINATIONS
REQUIREMENTS: From Article IX of the LSCA Constitution and Bylaws.
1. Any Coach may nominate a player even if the coach is not a member of the LSCA.
2. A coach may nominate any number of players from other schools, but may nominate
no more than four players from his/her own team.
3. A player must be nominated by position. (pitcher, catcher, infield, outfield)
4. The player MUST BE A FIRST TEAM ALL-DISTRICT SELECTION for the current year.
A player selected to the All-District team at the utility position must be nominated by
her primary position for All-State.
5. A COPY OF THE ALL-DISTRICT TEAM MUST BE INCLUDED WITH THIS NOMINATION
FORM. this can be the official copy from your district chairperson, a copy of the
newspaper with the list, or a complete list on your school’s letterhead with your
principal’s signature.
6. I WILL NOT CALL for verification of all-district selections. Your nominees will
not be on the ballot. It is your responsibility to include the list with your nominations.
7. Only members of the LSCA are eligible to vote for the All-State team.
8. There will be 18 players selected in each classification.
9.PLEASE do not send statistics.
10.Nominations must be postmarked, or emailed by MAY 6, 2004. Please do this
ASAP.
